FAQs

Question: How am I going to get from my hotel to the church? How will I get from the church to Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden? And how do I get from there back to my hotel?

Answer: On Friday, there will be 1 shuttle leaving from the Ritz-Carlton and 1 shuttle leaving from Hotel Arya to take guests from Coconut Grove to the church. These shuttles will also bring guests from the church to Fairchild for the Reception, and then back to these 2 hotels at the end of Friday evening. We ask that you please wear a mask on the shuttles!

Question: What is a guayabera? What is "Garden Formal Attire" and what is "Smart Casual Attire"?

Answer: Great questions. Firstly, a guayabera is a traditional, formal Cuban shirt usually worn by men at weddings, funerals and other important events. Anybody can wear one but this is by no means required - just a little touch of Cuban culture and flair if you so choose! Secondly, Garden Formal Attire means that you may wear a formal outfit that you think fits with a garden, tropical theme. E.g. a light linen suit, or other kind of suit for men; a cocktail dress for women. But you can be as fancy as you'd like! Smart Casual Attire (for the Brunch) should fit in at a fancy hotel restaurant overlooking the water.
